A lack of access to electricity and modern energy sources profoundly limits economic development, forcing millions of Haitians into extreme poverty. The purpose of this activity is to add solar energy in the new HavServe community center and incorporate solar energy education and usage into school curricula in order to familiarize younger generations to solar energy. Lessons can include solar cooking scientific principles, practical lessons in solar cooking by assisting with school lunch preparations.
