Work with HavServe to create an effective Partnership Proposal Presentation Project
Deliverables
- A new partnership proposal presentation, or an update of an existing proposal in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
- Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective partnership proposal
Prerequisites
PROFESSIONAL
- Experience selling products/services & delivering pitch decks
- Experience crafting professional presentation materials
- Excellent writing and editing skills
HavServe Team
- Clear understanding of the target audience for the partnership proposal, and the desired goals of the presentation
- Access to HavServe’s Mission, Vision, & Values as well as existing presentation template or access to Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
A dedicated staff member capable of clearly articulating the story and value to potential partners.
Estimated Time
Volunteers: 10-40 hours over 2-4 weeks
Organizations: 4-7 hours

Requirements:
This project requires a short interview with HavServe. If your application is accepted, you’ll receive an email from HavServe with instructions to schedule a call.
PROJECT STEPS
- Prep: Distribution of prep materials
- Existing partnership proposals (if applicable)
- Specific elements to be included in the proposal, such as data, graphics, images, or key brand messaging
- Organizational background materials helpful in crafting the pitch, such as Mission and Vision, Annual Report, or other fundraising or communication materials
- Milestone 1: Brainstorm
- Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss the goals, intended audience, and desired length of the presentation
- Milestone 2: Outline
- Professional outlines the new pitch to convey overall presentation arc, slides to be included, and important supporting elements
- Volunteer Manager provides feedback, which Professional incorporates
- Milestone 3: Final deliverable
- Professional delivers a final draft of the presentation, along with notes to help guide presentation delivery

- Background in partnership strategy
- Deep understanding of non-profit partnerships

- A dedicated staff member willing to learn and sustain the partnership
- Ideas about key messages we need to convey to our partners
