What Communication specialist will do?
Advocate/blogging:
Our grassroots volunteers make sure their voices are heard by their elected officials. We know the most impactful ways to convince elected officials to take action against extreme poverty is to share the struggles and challenges of those living in poverty by blogging, using social media, video, volunteer spotlight, research the culture and the history.
Organize photos, videos and exit interviews
We give you the resources and platform to translate your passion into action. Are you ready to lead a team of like-minded poverty fighters by blogging, social media and doing research on poverty alleviation in rural Haiti?

Are you a marketing/communications professional? Join HavServe to promote volunteerism, the Sustainable Development Goals and Tourism in Haiti.
We’re looking for volunteers who are able to:
- Document the trip with pictures and video
- Interview travelers for information and feedback
- Share information in blog and video interviews both during and after trips
- Compile photos/video into a marketable piece for HavServe
- Be extremely flexible in a diverse environment
- Learn and observe with an open mindset
- Live and work in extremely rugged and harsh conditions without electricity, running water, or modern conveniences
- Deal with complex emotional struggles
- Be culturally sensitivity to beliefs and practices different than your own
